Lachlan will return to La Trobe University Football Club in 2019 after spending time in 2018 back home. Lachlan is a product of our Under 19’s program, playing 19’s in 2014. Lachlan played for La Trobe between 2014-2017.
Current La Trobe senior footballer Lachlan Miller says “it’s important to have a younger coach in the 19’s that is able to relate to the young players on and off the field as most are making a big transition from the country to living and studying at La Trobe”.
With a strong focus on fielding a successful Under 19’s team in 2019 “it’s a great opportunity for the young players coming to a new club to be able to play with a group of guys the same age and become involved in the club together” says 2018 first-year player Lachlan Tunbridge.
The club looks forward to seeing Lachlan take his playing knowledge into his new coaching role and hope for a successful 2019 season for our under 19’s.
